Today you will journey to the adventure and history rich central region of Ghana, Cape Coast:

• Road trip to Cape Coast (approx. 3.5-4 hr drive)

• Visit Kakum National Park:

• Walk the famous Canopy Walkway through the rainforest treetops!

• Traditional Buffet Lunch

• Rich historical and cultural storytelling about Ghana’s colonial past

• Guided tour of the Cape Coast Slave  Castle

Today you will immerse yourself in Ghana Cuisine and Cultural Traditions and Understanding:

• Participate in an authentic Ghanaian cooking class
• Learn the symbolism and meanings of Ghanaian Adinkra Symbols and traditions
• Make  and take home your own Batik Fabric using Adinkra Symbols 
• Learn your Ghanaian name and its cultural significance
• Discover the secrets behind preparing traditional Ghanaian dishes
• Enjoy a delicious tasting selection of authentic Ghanaian meals
• Enjoy traditional  local lunch buffet, snacks, music and refreshments throughout the day
